The beautiful Thistlewick Island was established in 1712 by Lord Samuel Lewis Thistlewick. The people who now live on Thistlewick (or Thistlewickians as they call themselves) are peaceful and friendly, and pride themselves on living completely separately from the rest of the world.
The children who grow up here have great freedom to play around most parts of the island. But there are some areas that they are forbidden from going near, because, for all its niceties, Thistlewick Island also holds many dark secrets, which have left some islanders superstitious and scared.
